Abstract
The Utica Shale has moved beyond drilling speed; today, recovery efficiency is the
key differentiator. As pressure depletion and parent–child interference shape well
performance, value creation depends on disciplined execution. This session will
highlight how integrating advanced diagnostics, geomechanics, and physics
guided planning can unlock greater gas recovery per foot drilled. Attendees will
gain actionable insights to optimize recovery, improve economics, and minimize
environmental impact in mature shale plays.
